Writing short fiction has always been one of my joys. But since becoming a mother, I’ve found myself writing less and less of it. These days, I mostly write to process life as it unfolds. Yet, in my desire to come home to myself once more, I’m determined to change that.
That’s why I’m creating Tender Tapestries.
Stories, much like fabric, are made of small, delicate threads. On their own, each moment might seem ordinary—a smile, a memory, a quiet thought—but woven together, they create something tender and lasting.
I love writing short fiction that captures slices of life—stitched with reflection, love, and meaning. Some stories may make you pause and ponder; others may simply warm your heart. Together, they form a tapestry of moments: fragile, becoming, ordinary, profound.
So, welcome, dear friend.
I’m glad you’re here—to read, to feel, and perhaps to find a bit of your own story between the lines I’ve yet to write. I hope, sincerely, that something here will warm your heart.
The first story in Tender Tapestries will be sent out this Friday—I can’t wait to share it with you.
With love always,
Dominique

Finally doing this as you suggested, @Niko Batallones! 🌸
